GORESWAR, April 2: “MP Hira Sarania of Kokrajhar parliamentary constituency and Jogeswar Kalita, secretary of O-Bodo Suraksha Samiti, are leading the people of BTAD astray by creating delusion among them. Hira Sarania wants to win the Kokrajhar seat in the coming general election,” said BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary in open meeting of the 12th annual conference of Goreswar Block BPF committee held in the Block Development Office field on Sunday. He was the chief guest of the programme. Mohilary also assured the people of Goreswar area that a stadium and a flyover over Goreswar railway crossing in the middle of Goreswar town would be constructed soon. Atuwar Rahman, president of Goreswar Block BPF Committee, presided over the open meeting which was iugurated by BTC EM Maheshwar Basumatary.
Addressing the gathering as appointed speaker, Emanuel Muchahary , MLA of Tamulpur LAC, said that BPF was working for all-round development of BTAD. He urged the people to co-operate with the BPF for the development of Goreswar area. Attending the open meeting as distinguished guest, Ganesh Kachary, EM, BTC said that a senior citizen meet would be organized on April 5 at Goreswar to discuss and solve the land revenue issue. BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary will also attend.
