Kosheswar Baruah passes away

Gohpur, January 21: Veteran poet and writer, researcher on the Chutiya tribe, historian, founding principal of Chaiduwar College and former Gohpur constituency MLA Kosheswar Baruah, who has been suffering from several ailments, passed away at 1.38 am at his residence located at Dakshin Gaon, Kahilipara, Guwahati. Funeral ceremony has been performed at his Gohpur residence today.
