Krish, Amit to attend Mumbai Indian's trial camp

GUWAHATI, Dec 26: Assam pacer Krish Das will attend the trial camp of Mumbai Indians from where the next batch will be recruited by the IPL outfit of Mumbai. The camp will be held in Baroda from tomorrow and it will also attended Krish’s this season Ranji trophy teammate Amit Verma.

It was almost sure that any of the eight franchisee of IPL will show interest to recruit Krish in the team after he made magnificent performance in the Ranji trophy Championship this season where till date the right handed pacer collected 44 wickets from eight matches. Krish, who took a call from The Sentinel in Ahamedabad on way to Baroda late in the night, said,  “I will try my best to impress the selectors with the performance.”

Meanwhile Satan Das, the joint secretary of the Assam Cricket Association, is delighted with the news.  In a brief reaction Das said, ‘It’s really a good news for us. I am optimistic that Krish will be able to earn a berth in the main team,”
