Krish selected in India Blue team for Duleep trophy

GUWAHATI, Aug 12: Assam pace bowler Krish Das selected in the India Blue team for the forthcoming Duleep trophy championship. The meet will kick off on August 23.

This time the tourment will be held in new format and only three teams will take part in it which are India Red, India Blue and India Green.

BCCI announced that Greater Noida Intertiol Stadium will host the entire meet.  As per the schedule, the league stage will be played in a round-robin format and each game will be lasting four days. On the other hand pink ball will take the place of white ball.

BCCI announced the three teams last night. Yuvraj singh med captain of India Blue while Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Rai will lead India Blue and India Green respectively..

Reacting on his selection in India Blue team, Assam speedster today said The Sentinel, “I am happy. It’s a good opportunity for me to build confidence just before the start of the season and if I get opportunity I will try my best to perform well.” Another member of Assam Ranji trophy team Arun karthik too included in India Red team.

India Blue will start its campaign in the championship on August 29 with the game against India Red.
