KSU against shifting of residential school

SHILLONG, June 2: The Khasi Students Union (KSU), Laskein Circle, and the Synjuk Rangbah Shnong Elaka Raliang (Laskein Block) have opposed the State government’s decision to shift the Residential School from Laskein (Deiñkynthung) to Shangpung Khliehrangh Village. At a public meeting today, general secretary of the KSU’s Laskeiñ circle Leningrad Tariang urged the Education Minister RC Laloo to take up the matter seriously and not to shift the school to Shangpung Khliehrangh.
