Lajong Academy advance

SHILLONG, Jan 7: Shillong Lajong Academy defeated North East United FC by 2-0 in the last match of the U-18 Youth League (Shillong-Guwahati Zone) held at the MFA Turf in Polo Ground here today. Lajong Junior Boys also won the first leg clash against North East with a 2-1 margin.

In today’s match, Jeremy Laldinpuia scored the first goal in the 31st minute while M. Safique increased the margin in 66th minute.

With this victory Lajong remained undefeated in the tourment and completed the group stage on a winning note. They have qualified for the fil round of the U-18 Youth League collecting  16 points from 6 games.
