Lakhimpur MASS reacts

LAKHIMPUR, April 27: Lakhimpur district unit of Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti (MASS) expressed strong reaction over the mysterious disappearance of Rewati Phukan, the member of PCG, who was once the member of Oil India Eleven Football team. The organization does not regard his disappearance as a simple matter and suspects that he might have become a victim of a conspiracy hatched by the government machinery with a view to hinder the peace talk between the ULFA and the government. Alleging comprehensive failure on the part of the State government regarding the maintenance of law and order and ensuring security to the common people, the organization questioned why the PCG members were not given adequate security measures. The organization demanded the government to trace and rescue him in no time.
