Lakhwinder wins singles title

GUWAHATI, May 26: Lakhwinder Pal Singh of Punjab clinched the Men’s singles title in the 41st All India Electricity Sports Control Board Badminton championship held at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor stadium here today. In the fil Singh defeated Vishnu Rajendran of Kerala by 21-16, 21-16. In the men’s doubles Kerala lifted the title defeating Punjab by 21-14, 17-21, 21-15.The closing function was attended by a few top officials of the Assam State Electricity Board which included Prab Borah, CJM (Head Qtr/HR), SN Kalita,CJM (F&Q) and B K Duari, President, ASEB Sports Club.
