Lankashi police recover pilfered oil

Duliajan, February 6: Lankashi police, acting on a secret information, recovered large amount stolen condensed oil of Oil India Limited and seized one Tata AC super vehicle in this connection on Thursday night at around 11.30 p.m. from Dimaruhula. Police recovered 2,200 litres of condensed oil contained in 11 drums. The registration number of the vehicle is AS04–AC–3796. Sources said the thieves were trying to carry the stolen oil to some place in that vehicle. The miscreants, however, maged to flee.
