Lapang meets rayasamy

SHILLONG, May 23: Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) chief, Dr DD Lapang today could not meet, AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi as she is out of station. She would come back to New Delhi on May 26. According to sources, Lapang met AICC in-charge for Meghalaya, V rayasamy. “The MPCC president informed rayasamy that the aggrieved MLAs are adamant that they would meet the AICC chief Sonia Gandhi and apprise their grievances to her,” sources said. The MPCC chief was accompanied by Shillong MP Vincent Pala. Lapang also met Meghalaya Rajya Sabha MP Wansuk Syiem.
