Law-and-order situation reviewed

Rangia, August 6: A district-level law and order situation review meeting was held at Rangia PWD IB on Saturday evening. The meeting was presided over by Vinod Seshan, kamrup Deputy Commissioner.

Rauk Ali Hazarika SP, ADC Anurupa Baruah, baneet Mahanta, Additiol SP, Divisiol Railway Mager, Rangia, Radhey Raman, SDO civil Rangia, Kailash Karthik N, C O SSB Paranjeet Singh Salora including CO Army, CRPF, SDPO Rangia,Prab Kumar Pegu, and other  high officials of district were present in the review  meeting. Speaking to the media, DC Seshan briefed about the meeting. He said that it was a routine meeting on the law-and-order situation of the district.

Earlier, the same meeting was held at Amingaon. He assured the public of the district that they would be able to celebrate 70th Independent Day peacefully.  There was no threat in the district. But police, army and paramilitary forces were ready to tackle any situation, he added.
