lbari to host 32nd IMA Assam State conference

LBARI, March 19: The Indian Medical Association, lbari branch will organize the 32nd IMA Assam State-level conference from March 20 to March 22 at the lbari IMA House.

lbari Deputy Commissioner Dr Om Prakash DC lbari will flag off the medical awareness procession on March 20 followed by staff council meeting. Dr Mabendra Goswami, president of IMA Assam State branch will hoist the flag on March 21 followed by smriti tarpan. The iugural session will be iugurated by Dr Dhrubajyoti Bora , the president of Axam Xahitya Xabha.

Dr Bhumidhar Barman, State Revenue Minister and Dr Dipak  Kumar Sarma, Vice-Chancellor of Kumar Bhaskar Barma Sanskrit University will grace the occasion as chief guest and appointed  speaker  respectively while Dr Umesh Chandra Sarma , the Vice-Chancellor of Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences will release the souvenir to be published on the occasion.  Dr Om Prakash will release the IMA Medical Directory edited by Dr Arun Barman.

Various academic programmes will be held which will be attended by medical professiols from all over the country.
