Lecture on fincial inclusion held

DIBRUGARH, March 18:  A guest lecture by former CGM SIDBI, Lucknow, Pradip Kr. Saha, on the topic ‘Fincial Inclusion in India with particular reference to Micro-Fince’, was organized by Department of Commerce, Tinsukia College on Wednesday.

Attended by commerce and magement students of Tinsukia College and GS Lohia Girls’ College, the interactive session witnessed active participation of faculty members and students on topics related to the current economic scerio, where inclusion of the poor and margilized in the overall growth and development of the country was highlighted.

The session concluded with a short perspective on village economy by Principal, Tinsukia College, Dr Bhuban Gogoi. It was anchored by Professor Niranjan Shukla and presided over by Head of the Department of Commerce, Tinsukia College, Santanu Bora.

Saha in his lecture, called upon the students to be the ambassadors of ‘Fincial Inclusion’ and contribute their share of knowledge and resources to help in the process of tion building.
