Lecture on use of computer held

Dibrugarh, Feb 15: Under the initiative of the Department of Physics of DHSK College, a lecture session titled ‘Use of Computer and the Future of Society’ was organized at DHSK College on February 14. The oration session was attended by the Head of Department (HOD) of the Electronics, Dibrugarh Polytechnic, Chakradhar Das,who in his deliberation spoke extensively on the  use of computer, its introduction and future of society.  Das further stated that through the knowledge of computer, one could have an easy access to the world.

Earlier while iugurating the lecture session, DHSK College Principal, Dr. Sasikanta Saikia, briefly stated about the various levels of computer invention and also lauded the efforts of the Physics department for organizing the oration session. Dr. Saikia also informed the gathering that a proposal for introducing a course on computer application had been initiated by the college administration.  The programme was aptly anchored by the Head of the Physics department of DHSK College, Dr Jyoti Phukan. Later, an interactive session was also held between the students and faculty members of the Physics department.
