Left Front’s massive victory in Panchayat by-election

Agartala, Dec 23 : Ruling Left Front recorded a massive victory in the by-election of the three tier panchayat counting of which ended today. The election was held on December 21.

Out of the 41 Village Panchayat seats the Left Front own 37 while two each went in favour of BJP and Trimool Congress.

The Left Front also won one Panchayat Samity and one Zilla Parishad seat for which election was held on the same day.
