Leo Club observes WED, holds eye camp

Silchar, June 9: Leo Club of Silchar Central observed World Environment Day with the students No 335 Tarapur LP School. Some animated short films on environment were also screened for the students. It was followed by an awareness session in which students were taught the importance of planting trees and protecting the environment. Later, a number of flower saplings were planted around the premises of the school by the members of the club as well as the teachers and students. Leo Club of Silchar Central also organized a free cataract screening camp recently at Garden Hospital in Pallourband Tea Estate.
