Leopard captured at Khumtai

Golaghat, January 20: A leopard which was part of a pack of leopards that has been creating terror in Dabidubi and Greater Khumtai areas in Golaghat for the past several days, was captured by forest officials on Tuesday night. Around 4-5 leopards have been creating terror in the areas by killing more than 20 cattle and injuring a labourer. Yesterday local people came out with sharp weapons in search of the leopards but could not find them. Filly last night forest officials maged to capture one leopard in a cage. Today the caged leopard was taken to mbor Forest.
