Leopard captured in Golaghat District

GOLAGHAT: A leopard that had been creating terror in the Dhekial area in Golaghat, was captured by the forest officials with the help of local people on Sunday morning.

The leopard had been creating terror in the area since the past few days and the people of the area were living in fear. A person named Biswa Bora was attacked by the leopard few days back.

Local people reported the matter to the forest department of Golaghat. Finally on Sunday morning the leopard was caged. Local people gathered in large numbers to see the captured leopard.
