PANIGAON, April 26: Ramdhenu Puthighar—a library constructed at the initiative of local youth Rintu Saikia—was iugurated at Barbil Baligaon here in Lakhimur district recently. Dr Biman Ch Chetia, Principal of North Lakhimpur College , iugurated the library in the presence of a huge gathering. Rintu Saikia, secretary of the library in his speech said that the library has been opened for inculcating the reading habit in greater Lakhimpur area. The programme was moderated by Niran Kumar Bora, Principal of Amtola Dambukial Kaoibhuruka HS School. A wall magazine titled Ramdhenu , edited by Banda Dutta, was unveiled on the occasion. The programme was also attended by writer Arabinda Rajkhowa.
