Life imprisonment to ten accused in Assam serial bomb blast, 2008

Guwahati: The special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court today pronounced life imprisonment to ten accused in the 2008 serial blast leaving 88 people dead and 500 others injured. The court awarded life imprisonment to the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) (R) Chief Ranjan Daimary and along with nine others.

The special court convicted Daimary and 14 others on January 28 for the 2008 Assam serial bombing case triggered by NDFB on October 30 in Guwahati, Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon and Barpeta.
