Lightning kills one

DEMOW, May 5: A person was killed by lightning strike on Friday morning in Kotiyori Gaon under Nitaipukhuri Police Station near Demow. The deceased has been identified as Raj Kumar Deori (36), a resident of Kotiyori Gaon and a farmer by profession. According to sources, on Friday morning Raj Kumar Deori went to the field for work and was killed by thunder. This is the second incident in one week. He is survived by his wife, two children and a host of relatives.
