Liquor sale prohibited

DIBRUGARH, Nov 18: The Dibrugarh administration has prohibited the sale and consumption of liquor in all the areas falling under 121 No Chabua LAC and its adjoining areas, in view of the bypolls to 14 Lakhimpur parliamentary constituency on Saturday.  

Under the notification,  from  4 pm  of November 17  till 4 pm of November 19 , the sale and consumption  of liquors  in  all local liquor shops, branded warehouses ,foreign liquor shops  beer shops  have been prohibited in the areas falling under 121 No Chabua LAC and its nearby areas. Moreover, on the day of counting of votes, that is, on November 22, a similar ban has also been imposed on the sale and consumption of all forms of liquor, in the entire district.
