Liquor seized at Margherita

MARGHERITA, Feb 22: Excise departments sleuths today conducted raids at different places under Margherita Excise circle including at Segunbari Tha road here. Seven persons were arrested in this connection. The excise team also seized 55 litres ID liquor, 135 litres DPL, 2.01 and 4.55 BL beer meant for sale in Assam. A case has been registered under section 53 (1) (A) of Assam Excise Act 2000.
