Local holiday declared in Dhemaji district on April 9

DHEMAJI, April 4: The Government of Assam has declared local holiday in Dhemajidistrict on April 9 in connection with the by-electionin 113-Dhemaji (ST) Assembly Constituency of Assam.

It has further declared paid holiday in Dhemajidistrict on April 9 under Section 135 B of R.P Act 1951 and as well as public holiday under Section 25 of N.I Act,1881. The declaration is made in respect toall State/Central governmentoffices/Public Sector Undertakings/ Corporations/boards/banks/educatiol institutions in 113 Dhemaji (ST) Assembly Constituency area.
