Local holidays declared on Sept 18

Shillong, Sept 12: Local holidays have been declared in East Khasi Hills, West Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi districts on 18th September on account of “Unitarian Anniversary Day”. While the Additiol Chief Secretary, General Administration (A) Department, notified that all State government offices, revenue and magisterial courts and educatiol institutions in East Khasi Hills district will remain closed that day, the Deputy Commissioners of West Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi district have announced the holidays in their respective districts.
