Actor Sushmita Sen is dating model Rohman Shawl and isn't hesitant to show it. The former Miss World has now opened up about how she really met him, dissimilar to the speculation that the couple met at a fashion show.
In an interview with film critic, Sushmita Sen stated, "It's a very, very beautiful serendipity story. He sent me a direct message on Instagram and I didn't check direct messages since I didn't know whether you check it, you may be allowing that individual to start communicating with you. So, I had too many of these immediate messages and I had not opened any and there it was."

She shared how she didn't notice opening one of the direct messages unintentionally as a boy distracted her in the room, making her click on a message accidentally. She stated, “Touch screen phone ki Jai ho because I had gone to the DM to look at what all had come and I was scrolling through and this boy broke something in the room and I went talking to him and when I came back I had obviously opened one of the DMs and it was a message from him and I was like ‘Oh my god, how did I do that, god I should never be talking when I am near a phone’.”
She also replied to him, "Thank you so much, your message filled my heart with joy, I wish you all the happiness in the world." And he again sent her a message which won her heart. He had answered, “I am jumping from one room to another, I cannot believe you responded.” Sushmita revealed that he initially invited her to watch him play football but they eventually decided to meet on a coffee date.
Susmita is a mother of two adopted girls - Renee and Alisah. She has made it clear that she won't sacrifice her own bliss for her youngsters. She, however, added that with regards to their prosperity, they remain her top priority.
Recently, Sushmita Sen and model took to Instagram to bring to public her suspected relationship with Shawl by introducing him to the world as ‘the love of her life.’
The actor who visited the Taj Mahal (Agra) on the weekday posted some beautiful picture on her Instagram, crammed with love, sunshine, and friends. In one in every one of them is Rohman Shawl, seated on a bench right next to her, staring at her too. Sushmita sports a black hat and looks happy as ever.
Sharing the pictures, Sushmita wrote: “#clickclick #friends #team & the #love of life!!! #memorable #cherished #tajmahal I love you guys!!!!”

Shawl, 27 is said to have moved from Noida to Mumbai to pursue a career in modelling and has scored representation from a few notable fashion designers as well. Rohman is a popular fashion model, who has walked the ramp for the number of high designers including with Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Shantanu and Nikhil and Manish Malhotra among others. Sushmita Sen, meanwhile, doesn’t have any Bollywood upcoming project in hand however habitually seems like a model on the ramp.
