Lush Job Offers in IIT Placement

GUWAHATI: The first placement of the season in IIT Guwahati has kick-started with a bang as prestigious companies offered lucrative packages. The companies included Microsoft, Goldman, SAP Labs, OLA, Barclays, Qualcomn among others. “Around 200 jobs were offered on the very first day which is a matter of great pride for the institution”, said an IIT official. Microsoft and Uber stood out with the biggest packages of Rs. 1.51 Crore and Rs. 1.06 Crore per annum, respectively.
