Magisterial inquiry ordered into molestation case

Golaghat (Dhekial), February 11: The Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat on Saturday ordered a magisterial inquiry into the alleged molestation of a woman in Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital, Golaghat. Taking to media persons, the DC said that the accused should get punishment. In this regard, Golaghat police registered a case and continued investigation. On February 9 night, some miscreant allegedly tried to rape a woman who was a patient’s attendant. Few days back, a person was admitted in Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital for burn injury. On February 9, his attendant wife was lured by some miscreant on the pretext of giving some ointment for her husband and taken to the third storey of the hospital. Later, the miscreant tried to rape the woman but she maged to escape.
