Mahanta felicitates rank holders

GAON (HAIBORGAON), June 22: Former Chief Minister PK Mahanta on Wednesday at a function held at gaon district library auditorium, felicitated all the rank holders of gaon district in the HS fil and HSLC examition held in 2016 and the students of Barhampur constituency who secured first division both in HS fil and HSLC examition.

Gracing the function as special guest, Minister for Water Resource, Keshab Mahanta in his speech said, “The present times are very competitive. In order to be eligible for anything, we all have to work hard. We have to qualify for anything only through hard work.”

Mahanta urged the students to fix their goal in life. On the other hand, State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora urged all the students to work hard. Vice-Chancellor of Down Town University, Dr. ren Datta, Ashok Anchary of Royal Group of Institutions, Col. RP Sarma and educationist Dr. Banda Datta were present in the function. The function was presided over by Dr Joyshree Goswami Mahanta.
