Mahmora Sub-treasury Inaugurated by Mahmora MLA Jogen Mohan in Sivasagar

JOYSAGAR: The newly built Mahmora sub-treasury was formally inaugurated at a function presided over by Charaidew Deputy Commissioner BN Phukan while Mahmora MLA Jogen Mohan formally opened the door of the new sub treasury building. Sonari MLA and State Power Minister Tapan Gogoi attended the meeting as the chief guest. The sub-treasury has been built with financial aid amounting to Rs 20 lakh received from the Assam Finance Commission. The sub-treasury is expected to help the people of entire Sonari, Mahmora, Sepon and Moranhut in the matter of various government transactions. Hundreds of locals as well as State government employees were present in the occasion.
