Mahurat of new Bodo film Hatarki Fagla held in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, June 20: Raj Film Productions, Kokrajhar has come out with its 9th edition of Bodo film Hatarki Fagla and the shooting of the film began from Monday at Paglababa temple in Kokrajhar town. The mahurat of the film was held at Paglababa temple in presence of some artistes and cine lovers.

The new Bodo film is to be directed by Chiraj Baglary who is also the script writer. The film with noted artistes like Geolang Brahma, Degarsing rzary (Swapan), Abish Basumatary, Akalabya Brahma, Hazarika Brahma, Mosco Brahma, including new faces-Riya Brahma, Sami Basumatary and Monji Brahma. It is being produced by Riya Brahma of Kokrajhar. The shooting of the film will continue for over a month. The film is based on drug addicts in the society.

Talking to media persons,  producer Riya Brahma said the new Bodo film Hatarkin Fagla  would be a social film which would be directed by noted director Chiraj Baglary. She said the film would be the 9th edition of Raj Film Productions. She hoped that the film would be a success.

Well-known actor Degarsing rzary (Swapan) said in an interview that the new film being produced by Riya Brahma would cater to the need of Bodo film industry. He said the Bodo film industry was facing problems in making profit due to piracy. He said an active role would be played by the Bodo Artistes’ Association, Dularai Boro Harimu Afat and agency of the department concerned to crackdown piracy.

On the development of Bodo film industry, rzary said the BTC authority should take a new policy over the uplift of the Bodo film industry. He said there was no proper infrastructure for showing the film in BTC area for which the producers fail to get benefit. He also said the All Bodo Artistes’ Association had approached the council authority for taking up policy to build mini cinema halls in every district and subdivision headquarters to boost the film industry. He hoped that the Bodo film industry would get new facelift if the Theatre and Cinema department of the council would take proactive measures in the near future which would also be a great inspiration for the producers.
