Major reshuffle in Assam Police by transferring SP rank officers

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Friday shuffled its police department by transferring several officials in the rank of SP and entrusting them with new responsibilities.

While the Karbi Anglong SP Dr. VSP Ganjala has been transferred and posted as DIG (ER), Sonitpur SP Prithipal Singh has been transferred as DIG (Security), SB(Security) SP Subashini Sankaran as Dibrugarh SP, Dibrugarh SP Gautam Bora as Commandant of 10th APBn, Additional SP (HQ) of Dima Hasao Pushraj Singh as SP of Golaghat, SP of Golaghat Manabendra Dev Ray as SP of Karimganj, SP of Karimganj Gaurav Upadhyay as SP of Karbi Anglong, SP of Baksa Binoy Kalita as Commandant of 3rd APTF Bn, Khajuwabeel, SP of Lakhimpur Sudhakar Singh as SP of Chirang, SP of Chirang Yuvraj as SP of Dhubri, SP of Dhubri Longlit Terang as SP of Udalguri, SP of Udalguri Rajveer as SP of BIEO, SP of Tinsukia Mugdhajyoti Dev Mahanta as SP of Cachar, SP of Cachar Rakesh Rousan as SP of Biswanath and SP of Charaideo Jitmal Doley as SP(Z), Jorhat.

DCP (Traffic) in the Commissionerate of Police, Guwahati Amanjeet Kaur has been transferred and posted as SP of Nalbari, SP of Nalbari Siladitya Chetia as SP of Tinsukia, Commandant of 12th APBn, Jamuguri Kumar Sanjit Krishna as SP of Sonitpur, FRRO Nagaon Susanta Biswa Sarma as SP of Goalpara, SP of Goalpara Amitabh Sinha as SP of Sivasagar, SP of South Salmara Amit Bhuyan as SP of Darrang and DCP (Operations) in the Commissionerate of Police , Guwahati Harekrishna Nath as SP of Lakhimpur.
