Man drowns to death

DEMOW, Feb 26: Krish Chetry (62), a resident of Balikur village, drowned in the Brahmaputra River on Saturday morning near Demow under Nitaipukhuri Police Station. According to sources, Krish Chetry was going to herd the cow when he fell into the river and died. The Nitaipukhuri Police recovered the body and sent it for post mortem to Sivasagar Civil Hospital.
