Man gets trolled on Twitter for tagging Railway Ministry over obscene ads on IRCTC official app

Guwahati: A hilarious post went viral after the Twitter user got a lesson by the IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) today for calling them out for the obscene ads that were visible on their official app.

The user identified as Arvind Kumar tweeted to IRCTC's official account on the micro-blogging site twitter tagging Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways of India saying that he was seeing obscene ads on the IRCTC app. "Obscene and vulgar ads are very frequently appearing on the IRCTC ticket booking app. This is very embarrassing and irritating. Kindly look into," wrote Kumar.

Kumar also added the screenshots of the obscene ads that he was seeing.

The post went viral, the IRCTC's official customer support account, Indian Railways Seva tweeted back to him saying, "Irctc uses Googles ad serving tool ADX for serving ads. These ads use cookies to target the user. Based on user history and browsing behaviour ads are shown. Please clean and delete all browser cookies and history to avoid such ads."

What's more, as soon as the IRCTC posted their attacking reply to Kumar, the Twitteratis quickly trolled the entire situation and Kumar became a laughing stock.
