Man stabs brother over land dispute

GAON, March 19: A man was allegedly stabbed to death by his elder brother at Chapala Tea Garden under Samaguri police station on Wednesday night due to a long-pending land dispute. The local police recovered the body of the deceased from his house on Thursday morning after the local people informed the police. According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Rajesh Paharia. The local police have arrested his elder brother Sambhu Paharia and his wife in connection with the murder. The couple was produced in the court on Thursday and the court remanded them to judicial custody.
