Manoj wins Bronze in WFF Mr Universe

Bongaigaon, July 6 : Manoj Kumar Mahanta, body builder from Bongaigaon brought glory by grabbing bronze medal in WFF Mister Universe competition held in Singapore. He got this award in 30 years above Men in Beach Model category. In a press meet held today in Bongaigaon Press Club Mahanta said that the competition held in Singapore on July 1 where a 15-member team from India had participated. “Among these 15 , we were 5 from Assam. More than 400 competitors from total 36 countries had participated in this competition,” he said.

Mahanta said that he had been financialy helped by an NGO and some of his friends to take part in this competition. He also gave credit to his trainer Suman Das of Siliguri. Several noted person including Bikas Pathak , Prabin Kumar Baisya of FF Classic, an organization who organizes event etc were present today in the press meet.
