GUWAHATI, Feb 7: An NDRF team on Saturday retrieved the body of a 49-year-old man, who was drowned in a pond at Dhaklagaon village under Vijaygar police station in Kamrup district. An official of the NDRF said that the 1st BN NDRF consisting of 20 rescuers carried out strenuous search operation from dawn to dusk and subsequently retrieved the body of drowned victim Amrit Kalita. Later NDFB team handed over the body to Vijaygar police.
