Materials distributed among beneficiaries

Dibrugarh, Jan8: In a meeting organized at the District Industry and Business Centre on Thursday, the   former Minister and MLA Prithibi Majhi handed over Fashion Designing Machine, Painting Machine and Masala Grinding Machines, under the Mukhyomontri Karma Jyoti  Asoni, among 20 beneficiaries belonging to the Scheduled Caste Community.

Majhi under the Chief Minister’s Special Scheme,  also gave away special benefits to 94 small scale industries which are engaged with self-help groups doing business in tea, cane and bamboo, jute, betel nut, orange, water hyacinth  so that more and more local people could be employed under such industries.

Speaking at the occasion, Majhi called upon all entrepreneurs and people to avail the benefits of the various employment generated schemes of State government, to strengthen the fincial development of the District through self-employment.

The General Mager of the District Centre, Rajen Lagasu who presided over the meeting, in his speech emphasized on the need for proper utilization of the schemes.
