May Day observed

DICHANGMUKH, May 2: Along with the rest of the world, Labour’s Day or May Day was also observed in Dichangmukh on Sunday. Under the initiative of Kathpar Jkur Mai Parijat, the day was observed with a day –long programme at 18 No Kathpar Elementary School. The programme started with lightning of lamp by Parijat’s advisor and president Kushal Chutia and Abdul Majid respectively. The programme was attended by various people from different walks of life. An art competition was also held to mark the occasion.
