Me-Dam-Me-Phi celebrated with fervour

Golaghat, Jan  31: The two-day Me-Dam Me-Phi central celebration held from Saturday at Penlung Lachit Borphukan Samany Kshetra in Golaghat  witnessed a huge gathering of people on Sunday. In today’s programme flag hoisting was done by Putu Gohain, tribute was paid by Jatin Gohain and tree plantation was doneby Nityand Gogoi and cultural procession was declared open by Dr Kamleshwar Neog. An open meeting was organized which was presided over by Putu Gohain. A souvenir was  unveiled by Dr Padmeshwar Gogoi. The invited speaker was Arun Gogoi while the cultural night was declared open by Dr Lachit Baruah.
