Golaghat, January 30: The two-day central Me-Dam Me- Phi celebration started from today at Penlung Lachit Borphukan Samany Kshetra. In today’s programme, the competition were declared open by District Jail Superintendent Dilip Saikia. Various competitions were held. Lamp lighting was done by Rup Konwar and Furalung ritual was done by Pur Rajkhowa.
