Me-Dam-Me-Phi celebrations on Jan 31

DISANGMUKH, Jan 25: The people of Pachim Konwarpur in Disangmukh will celebrate Me-Dam-Me-Phi at the Chaolung Sukafa Sammay Kshetra on January 31 with a day long programme. The rituals of the festival will begin at 4 am with the flag hoisting and will be followed by the offerings and prayers. The Phurlung and Wanfi puja will take place at 9.30 am. In the evening earthen lights will be lightened as a mark of tribute to the ancestors and Dam-Phi. The organizers have informed that a cultural programme is also being organized on the occasion and the same will begin at 8.30 pm.
