Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccination campaign held in Morigaon

MORIGAON: A media sensitization programme on Measles-Rubella (MR) campaign was organized jointly by the district administration and District Health and Family Welfare Department at the DC’s conference hall on Wednesday.

The Measles and Rubella vaccination campaign will start from August 17 in the district. Targeting 3.19 lakh children between 9 months to 15 years, the immunization drive against Measles and Rubella has been going on in the district since the previous month.

Besides, the State Health and Family Welfare Department will start its MR vaccination especially in schools and villages from August 17.
