DULIAJAN, Jan 17: The 13th annual Medam-me-phi to be celebrated at Era Pather Primary School playground here on January 31 with a day-long programme. The Medam-me-phi is being organized by Duliajan Anchalik All Tai Ahom Students’ Union and Bhadoi Unit of ATASU in association with Era Pather Alok Sandhan Puthibharal.
Various programmes including a marathon race competition have been organized. The flag of the celebration will be hoisted by Miram Gogoi, president of organizing committee. A drawing competition among the students will also be held. A souvenir to be published on the occasion will be released by Harikrish Changmai, Project Director of NEEPCO.
The open meeting and prize distribution ceremony will be held at 4: 30 pm where Dr Surndra th Gogoi, Principal (in-charge) of Duliajan College and Dr Deepak Gogoi, Associate Professor of Assamese department, Duliajan College will attend as distinguished guests.
