Medical camp at Tezpur

TEZPUR, Jan 16: A medical and dental camp was held on the occasion of Army Day under the banner of Gajraj Corps at the Military Base Hospital complex at Tezpur on Sunday for Ex-servicemen (ESM) and their dependants, an official press release stated. The camp was iugurated by Brig MKV Patil, Station Commander, Tezpur Military Garrison.

The ex-servicemen and their dependants were examined for lifestyle diseases like hypertension, Type II diabetes and obesity. Cancer screening was also done. Dental screening was conducted by the Dental unit of the Gajraj Corps.

The camp also featured a talk on ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ given by the doctors.

The Station HQ Tezpur also opened an ESM Help Desk to resolve pension/ECHS and other problems of ESM.
