Medical camps held for flood-affected people

SIVASAGAR, May 2: ONGC, Assam Asset, in continuation of its Corporate Social Responsibility, organized health check-up-cum-mobile medical camps for the flood-affected people residing in and around ONGC operatiol areas.
The first camp was held at Lakwa on April 25 and April 26, followed by another camp at Desangmukh on May 1, on May Day.
More than 1,050 people were benefited from the camps. The camps were multispecialty in ture comprising different specialist doctors and paramedics. It was basically a post flood awareness camp for prevention and protection from diseases like diarrhoea, fever of all origin, skin diseases, worm infestation and aemia. During the camps the patients were provided free medicines and spectacles.
ONGC medical services team comprised of Dr S Neog, Dr AB Gogoi, Dr A Khargharia, Dr S Ahmed, and paramedical staff.
