Meet on NRC update held

TINSUKIA, May 5 : An awareness meeting on updating of NRC was held on Monday under the aegis of Tinsukia District administration at conference hall of the Deputy commissioner’s office. The additiol deputy commissioner  Diganta Saikia spoke about the process of updating  of the NRC which is being started in the district. The ADC said that 90 NRC seva kendras have been opened  in the district and 900 blocks have been taken up for updating NRC. A large number representatives of different organizations including AASU, AJYCP,AAMSU took part in the meeting. ADC Diganta Saikia called upon the people to co-operate with the district administration in the process of NRC update.
