Meeting for mock drill exercise on earthquake disaster

NAGAON: A preparatory meeting for a mock drill exercise on earthquake disaster was recently held at the DC’s conference hall in Nagaon. In the meeting, various issues in connection with the emergency operation were discussed.

The CEO and ADC, District Disaster Management Authority, Nagaon, and other stakeholders of the mock drill as well as the district executors of emergency operation centre were present in the meeting and they took the decision to launch a mock drill exercise on earthquake disaster from December 20 onwards in five distinctive places of Nagaon town like office of the Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon, Galaxy Apartment, GD Nursing Home, India Mart Shopping Mall and Pioneer College.
