'Megnews' launched

SHILLONG, April 16: State Information & Technology Minister AL Hek launched ‘Megnews’, a weekly news bulletin to insure that the state government policies and programmes reach out to the people of the State here on Thursday.

The weekly news bulletin will be distributed free of cost among the general public on every Friday. The news bulletin is being published by the State Directorate of Information and Public Relation (DIPR). The first edition of the news bulletin is expected to hit the market on April 17.

Addressing the occasion, AL Hek expressed his happiness that ‘Megnews’ which was a long pending proposal of the government has filly come true.
