Memorandum submitted to Union Home Minister

HOWRAGHAT, March 24: A memorandum has been submitted to Union Home Minister Rajth Singh in New Delhi by the joint delegation of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC). The joint delegation led by KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang submitted the memorandum to the Home Minister demanding separate state under Article 3 of the constitution. Ronghang said that he reminded Rajth Singh about his commitment to implement Article 224(A) during the last parliamentary election campaign meeting held at Dokmoka in Karbi Anglong if BJP came to power.  A meeting on the implementation of MoS will be held tomorrow, Ronghang added.
